Structural Material Manger utilizes a software security lock, and this lock requires a Windows driver. This driver is comprised of software that coordinates the interaction between Structural Material Manager's security lock and the Windows operating system.
Please note that E.J.E. Industries utilizes three different types of security locks: one is an off-white color, another is purple, and another is black. It does not matter which type of lock you have, as each performs the same function. However, the white lock and purple lock use a certain driver, and the black lock employs a different driver.
There is normally no need to download lock drivers, as they are supplied on the Structural Material Manger CD. However, if you are experiencing a lock-related problem, or E.J.E. Industries Technical Support has instructed you to download the latest driver, the drivers are available at no charge by clicking the appropriate link below.
Click here if your Structural Material Manager (Version 6.0 or newer) uses a white security lock for the parallel port or ANY type of USB security lock (either purple or back with purple accent stripes).
Click here if you have a black security lock with Structural Material Manager Version 6.0 or later.
Lock drivers are not available on this site for the discontinued Version 5.5 and earlier Structural Material Manger systems. Those versions used 16-bit lock drivers as opposed to the 32-bit variety employed by Structural Material Manger Version 6.0 and higher.
